We're a Fraser Valley turf company, based right here in Abbotsford. We started Abbotsford Turf Worksbecause we kept seeing the same thing: nice turf laid over a bad base, turning to a soggy mess the first wet winter. That's not turf's fault. It's the install.
So we built our whole approach around the part most people never see, the base underneath. Our winters are long and wet, and a lot of our soil is heavy clay that holds water. Get the drainage right and turf out here is fantastic. Get it wrong and it's a headache. We get it right.
We're not a big franchise running crews all over the province. We're local, we know these neighbourhoods, and we treat every yard like it's our own. That means tight seams, clean edges, a tidy site at the end of the day, and a straight answer when you ask us a question.
